The AVOXimeter 4000 Portable CO-Oximeter makes the same measurements as the conventional co-oximeters made by Radiometer, Bayer Diagnostics, Instrumentation Laboratory, AVL Scientific, Ciba Corning, and Nova Biomedical: carboxyhemoglobin, methemoglobin, oxyhemoglobin, total hemoglobin, saturation, and oxygen content.

Reliable Measurements

Going beyond blood gas analysis, the AVOXimeter 4000 uses state-of-the-art optical technology to measure tHb, O2Hb, MetHb,. and COHb.

 

Portability

Portable, battery-operated for co-oximetry anywhere, anytime.  Provides fast and accurate sample analysis and stores 100 samples in memory.

Compared with conventional co-oximeters made by Radiometer, Bayer Diagnostics, Instrumentation Laboratory, AVL Scientific, Ciba Corning, and Nova Biomedical, the AVOXimeter 4000 Portable CO-Oximeter is 10X faster, 10X smaller, and 10X lighter. Only the AVOXimeter 4000 Portable CO-Oximeter (aka GEM OPL) is battery-powered.

 

Disposable cuvettes eliminate the maintenance required by conventional oximeters and co-oximeters made by Radiometer, Bayer Diagnostics, Instrumentation Laboratory, AVL Scientific, Ciba Corning, and Nova Biomedical. Disposable cuvettes also make the AVOXimeter 4000 Portable CO-Oximeter the fastest co-oximeter.

Safe, Convenient, Disposable Cuvettes

No sample preparation.  Simply inject sample into cuvette, and insert cuvette into oximeter.  Results appear in less than 10 seconds.Sealed disposable cuvettes eliminate maintenance and.assure operator safety.

 

 

Maximum Quality Control with Minimum Effort

Quick and easy optical QC reduces the need for costly, time-consuming aqueous controls.Proficiency testing material also available.

 

Quality-control materials and proficiency-testing materrials are readily available for the AVOXimeter 4000 Portable CO-Oximeter. Liquid controls and proficiency-testing materrials are not available for the Oxicom.

 

The AVOXimeter 4000 Portable CO-Oximeter can be interfaced to laboratory information systems (LIS) and hospital information systems (HIS) via its RS-232 port and its ASTM-formatted output. The Oxicom has no serial port.

 

ASTM Communications Interface

Easily integrate AVOXimeter data with other laboratory or clinical information systems.
